2 out of 3 ain't bad...

getting drunk is fun. talking to your friends is fun. staying up until 5 in the morning is fun.

now i have found that you can combine any TWO of these activities and still have a really good time... (ie, getting drunk/with your friends, staying up till 5am/getting drunk, etc...) but when you combine all three it almost always spells bad news.

drunk dialing is the prime example of this, and i won't lie... i'm the king of it. the thing about drunk dialing is that the people you are calling are almost always asleep so you have to leave a message, that message in turn is something you say but don't really remember becasue that particular call was one person in a 12 person dialing rampage, AND the next day, you will always get the return phone call:

"hey"
"hey... you called me last night drunk"
"i did?? geez, what did i say?"
"oh, i saved the message"

OH, I SAVED THE MESSAGE!!!!!!!!!

it always happens! i have friends calling me playing me messages that i left them 3 YEARS ago!! and i'm a musical theatre major, so these aren't regular "hey, i'm drunk, where are you" messages... these are full on fu*king opperettas! i sing, i talk, i soliliquy, i do interpretive dances that i then describe in full detail.

i'm a goober.
i'm gonna go get lunch with my friend and tell him about this blog entry... he'll find it truthful, because he's one of the ones i call a lot :)
